Some things that college students can do, while studying, in order to secure a job f&b would be to join clubs, there’s a lot of clubs that can help the student gain skills in working with new people and in a new environment. Another thing they can do is look for internship in the food and beverage industry in order to have some experience and knowledge of working in this specific work force. Lastly what they could do is interact with more people, face to face communications is very important and they also have to learn to be outgoing instead of shy. I feel like even being in a classroom can help because you deal with many things such as time management skills, communication, participation, team work and plenty of more. As a college student they should really look into opportunities that could fall under this workforce because at the end of the day experience is still a major thing when applying to jobs and they’ll gain skills that they could carry throughout life.
