In order to obtain a job in food and beverage industry there are many skills you can learn in college to get you prepared. For example learning how to manage inventory stocks is very important, since you do not want to have menu items to go out of stock that will be possible income you are missing out. Also having knowledge with most of the beverage types can help you with your job that is involved in beverages. There are classes and clubs in college that introduce you to different types of beverages. Lastly good practice of being hospitable can ensure customer to come back for round two, and there are coporate dining training classes in college to help you praticec your communication skills with guests.
