The purpose of World Central Kitchen is to provide hot, fresh food to communities that have survived a disaster. The three communities are Haiti, Nicaragua and Guatemala that began to be helped due to the health impact of cooking with firewood and coal fueled fires, therefore, Clean Cooking program emerged. The three education initiatives are Sink to Stove program, École des Chefs is a culinary school in Port-au-Prince, and Chef Relief Training program. I believe that WCK has created these educational programs to educate the people of the communities to live better, prepare their food in different ways, and thus improve their diet.
