One of the three things that I learned from the website was the purpose of the James Beard Foundation which is to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders who are making America’s food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. That stood out to me because it’s good to know that people in the industry are trying to make it easier for other generation to be able to have the best experiences. A second thing I learned from the website was that they had virtual event to help support the food industry and that important right now because meaning that there has been many changes because of covid-19 that these chefs and restaurant still know that people are willing to support no matter the circumstances. The last thing I learned was that the foundation make sure that everyone knows that they will be safe and that restaurants are doing everything they can to make sure that while getting food they’ll be protected from being exposed to covid-19.
