Three things I learned from the James Beard website:
-The foundation has had a scholarship program since 1991 to help people continue their education in the culinary world. Since 2019, the foundation has donated about $8 million to its recipients.
-The Chefs Boot Camp for Policy and Change works to gain support for policy decisions that impact our culinary world.
-The Open for Good campaign helps restaurants overcome crisis they go through and thrive in the long run.
