Tiziana Sacco, known by her friends and family as Tizi, is an aspiring make-up artist, event planner, entrepreneur, and hospitality manager. She is assertive, attentive, charming, skillful, considerate, and an expedient learner. Tizi was born in Manhattan, New York to Ecuadorian and Uruguayan parents. She was raised in Montevideo, Uruguay until the age of seven, where she was brought back to New York to live with her mother and two sisters. During her time in Uruguay, her aunt Adriana (affectionately called La Maina) left a profound impact on the young Tizi, instilling her with the drive to achieve her hopes and dreams. Tizi has work experience in various positions in hotels, ballrooms, and restaurants since the age of fifteen. Her former places of employment include, The Double Tree Metropolitan Hotel, Botteglia del Vino, and Michael Jordan Steak House (to name a few), however, her most memorable position was in the Edison Ballroom, once known as the Supper Club in Time Square. Various events were hosted and celebrated during her time there which ranged from bar mitzvahs, fashion shows, after parties, corporate holiday parties, and celebrity birthdays. It was there where she discovered the glamorous and animated atmosphere kindled her passion for event planning and a future career in hospitality management. In addition to working as a banquet manager and event planner at a notable ballroom, catering hall, or lounge, Tizi would also one day like to become a special effects make-up artist. She would like to create her own make up brand or event planning company in the New York tri-state area. Tizi has a deep love of distinct cultures and languages. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish fluently and has sparse knowledge of Italian and Sign Language. She anticipates that the experience she gains at New York City Tech will enable her to realize her goals.
