36 Hours in Lugano

In all honesty, Lugano sounds relaxing. However, it is not a priority of mine and this specific article was not appealing to me, therefore not convincing me to make this a travel destination. The impression that this article left with me was that there is not too much to do in Lugano. The scenery looks nice, but I personally do not want to visit old churches as a “vacation”. Lugano seems small with very little to offer me, and the food options seem extremely limited in this city. The highlight of this article seemed to be pedal-boating on Lake Lugano. If that is the most adventurous activity to do here, count me out.

36 Hours in Paris

Paris has been the city I wanted to visit for the longest time and is also the most visited city in the whole world, reading the article only increases my aspiration to see the infamous Eiffel Tower in person. Getting on the Ballon de Paris would allow me to do so without wasting time waiting in the long line, it takes you 450 feet above the Parc AndrĂ© CitroĂ«n and you can see some of the other famous attractions from there, it would be a totally different experience than seeing them on the ground. Another one of the most appealing activities for me is to visit their museums, from the Palais de Tokyo to Petit Palais, there are so many options for people to explore the art world. If you are a party person, pĂ©niche is what you can’t miss, get on a party boat and enjoy the live music and delicious chilled wine. If I ever go to Paris, I would choose to stay at the Off Paris Seine, which is located next to the CitĂ© de la Mode et du Design exhibition center, it’s convenient and it also has a popular bar/restaurant. I’ve been planning on traveling to Paris for about a year so I definitely would love to go to Paris.

36 Hours: Lugano

I would not travel to Lugano, in Ticino because i feel this specific kind of area does not interest me. I love how modern the area looks but i feel likes it is more in a community than a vacation area. The Caffe Caruso to me looks more like a peaceful, relaxation environment, to spend quality time by yourself or with a partner. Although there is activities to do around the area such as, boat tours and nightspots it would be interesting to do but somewhere else where the environment is loud, music playing, tropical trees and a beach. That’s the kind of environment i enjoy having around me.

36 hours in paris

I would enjoy going to paris. Paris was always a place i would like to visit and this explains to me all the things to me about paris from culture, to food, to history of paris to even the activities that i can do in. There are so many activities like in the museum of palais de tokyo where art exhibits or the restaurants like monsieur bleu where u can enjoy drink in a fashionable style. Most important thing that you can’t miss are the clams and seafood that they are famous for, in the restaurant of  Le Vent d’Armor a place of fine tuned seafood for you to eat. And once you finish savoring the taste of paris you can also go to The  Jardin des Plantes a park is a great place to hang out in with your friends as it has many exotic things in it like animals and buildings. There’s a lot more to do in paris but this excites me a lot even though the lodging in paris is a lot i hope to one day be able to travel in paris and have some fun time there.

36 Hours in Paris

Paris is the most visited destination in the world. It is known for fashion, culture and fabulous restaurants. The Eiffel Tower is the most popular tourist attraction. This article inspires me to visit Paris not just to visit the Eiffel Tower, but to a enjoy a relaxing evening alongside the Seine River, indulges in Nicole Tibet excellent seafood dishes. Also, Paris has known for its beautiful and exquisite architectural designs. Ballon de Paris gives visitors a fantastic view of the city’s monuments and historical sites. I would love to visit Paris someday.

36 Hours: Paris

I would travel be interested in traveling to Paris, it seems like a very interesting place to hangout and kick it with someone. The ILe St-Louis near Peniche Marocunet reminds me of a beautiful spot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY. The pictures that were being provided with the article looks beautiful and makes me want to picture myself in a setting like this. Since i am a nugget lover i would definitely try the boneless chicken nuggets braised with caramel sauce on top. Sounds a bit terrifying but it won’t hurt to try something new.

36 Hours in Paris

From the amazing food to the night clubs, Paris is such an attraction in many different ways. In this article the women really explained in depth that there were so many things to do besides visit the Eiffel Tower and take pictures. But there were amazing restaurants with unique dishes and drink as well as museums and night clubs to visit as well. Also, adding on the prices for most of the things they ate and did Paris seems like an inexpensive place (in some parts) to visit and reveal so much of the city we would not even think existed. I would definitely visit Paris, mainly for the cuisine but also because it is such a beautiful place that I think everyone should visit and experience at least once in their lifetime.

36 Hours In Paris

Paris had always seemed exciting to me, and this article definitely sealed the deal. I would love to travel to Paris for many reasons including the food and how pedestrian friendly the city seems. Walking aside the Seine throughout Paris would be extremely exciting in order to experience the local live music, food trucks and culture altogether. I would prefer cheaper options and stick to the street food here rather than dine at expensive restaurants. However, the article definitely inspired me to make my way to Paris.

Having had experience in college going through that process of finding out who I am as a student and just a person overall, the most important thing was finding out what I really wanted out of life. As a student, I had moments where I wasn’t doing what I needed to do to succeed and I had to evaluate myself. I want to be able to be on top of things in everything that involves school and get the grades I know I deserve to get. I have had the great opportunity to work front of the house when it comes to the food service industry by being a server for catering companies. Although I have enjoyed working front of the house, working back of the house is really where I want to be and where I feel like I thrive. Also, I want to own my own bed and breakfast and hopefully expand it to a chain around the world. I find myself being able to listen to things once and pick them up and do it. Also, hospitality plays a huge role in who I am and where I want to go in life. I love the feeling of being able to help and service others and putting smiles on their faces. This school year I hope to do as good as I know I can and get a better understanding of what it really means to be in the hospitality industry.

I never had any interest to have a career in the hospitality industry. During high school, I worked as a room attendant at a hotel in Queens; I always knew I were going to have a career in the Medical field specifically in Nursing. After graduating high school, I enrolled in Medgar Evers college to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Science. Later, I quit my job as a room attendant; during, my job search for a Home Health Aide job to gain experience for my career path as a Nurse. My job search was unsuccessful; later I was hired by Star Staffing as a Room attendant working in various hotels throughout the five boroughs.

Also, I developed a passion for hotel cleaning; I enjoy working in the hospitality industry its fun, exciting and there’s a vast number of career opportunities. After taking a year from college I’ve considered changing my major from Nursing to Hospitality Management . A coworker informed me of the great Hospitality Program CityTech offers; I am thrilled to make this decision to have a career in the hospitality industry. My goal is to be a Hotel General Manager or the Director of Housekeeping.
