I will be visiting Bowling Green Park in Manhattan. Bowling Green plays a significant role in the history of New York, New York was purchased for twenty four dollars from the Native Americans at this exact location. Also the rebellion against the British also started at Bowling Green Park.

I will visit Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York.

I plan to visit this location in Queens because this park has historical significance, as well as many educational and recreational activities for all ages. Flushing Meadows-Corona Park is home to the Queens Museum, New York Hall of Science, and Citifield Stadium which is home for the Mets baseball team.

I will be visiting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum

I chose this attraction because it is a very important piece of New York History. Also, it includes two parts, a memorial that remembers the nearly 3,000 people killed during 9/11. As well as the museum which shows you the implications of events that led up to the attack.

I will be visiting the New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

I chose this attraction because it is a place that not many New Yorkers and tourists know about. It is the main branch of New York Public Libraries which stores over 15 million books. This library is located centrally in Manhattan and its architecture is so different from all the buildings surrounding it.

I will visit the Empire State Building.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, this point of interest is a must-visit as the Empire State building is the few tallest buildings in the world, and is relevant to the NYC Skyline, and is part of any NYC vacation. There are over 102 floors alongside a observatory deck for visitors to take a view of NYC, the reason why this landmark attracts over 3.6 million people a year!

I will visit the Edgar Allen Poe Cottage.

This cottage is the former home of American writer Edgar Allan Poe. It is located on Kings-bridge Road and the Grand Concourse in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx. This cottage is not to far from my home, yet i’ve never been. I chose this location because I get to experience the environment where this historical legend wrote some of his best work.

I will visit Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This park is rich in history and known previously as where the infamous Domino Factory once operated. I want to visit here because I’ve heard about it from a friend who has told me about the beautiful location by the east river where people visit the modern attractions while they witness the rich history of the factory preserved in time behind them.

I would like to experience walking the Brooklyn Bridge because this is a very famous bridge that connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. Also this is the longest suspension bridge in the world.
