After graduating from Midwood High School, I now attend New York City College of Technology to pursue my passion for baking. I am enrolled in Hospitality Management to gain knowledge and to develop skillsĀ that are important to become a successful pastry chef. One of the redeeming qualities I have is being able to soak up as much knowledge as I possibly can like a sponge. I am willing to learnĀ and to grow from my mistakes. During my sophomore year of high school, I worked as a tutor assistant. Now, I am currently working at Subways to develop my communication skills and customer service. Both of my jobs involved communicating and delegating tasks which are important in the hospitality industry. By learning from my mentors in both of my jobs and from my professors, I hope to emulate their footsteps to become a pastry chef.
