One job in the field of Meeting and Conventions Management that I believe that I’ll do good in is creating a marketing plan because I feel that I understand marketing, it’s more of planning on what the money will be spent on and how much will it be spent. To me its more clearer than the other jobs in the Meeting and Conventions Management.
Marketing is an important position and, yes, influences revenue with little expenditures.
One job I would want to try in the future would be a Conference organizer. I would need budgeting skills , attention to detail , leadership , and communication skills.
Everything is about the budget. Do well in those cost control and accounting classes, you will be grateful you did. We also have a revenue management elective, look into it.
One Job I would want to try in the field of meeting and conventions Management is Conference organizer because I am good at organizing and planning for an event like a conference. Also, the skills I have will be helpful as a conference organizer like communication skills and attention to detail.
Planning requires detail oriented work and attention to detail, good communication skills will make planning and execution more efficient.
one job that I would excel in is a meeting planner because I am good at planning and this job in particular has took an interest to me. so I feel like I would learn quickly at this job, to then be a better worker.
Planning requires detail oriented work and attention to detail, being a quick learner will be helpful.
One job I would like to try is enhancing the image of tourism in different areas/ locations. I like to explore and write down places I visit. So very much I think this job is the right one for me. I think the job is called “bureau” which centers of the job in convention center clientele. They have 5 responsibilities which I think are more of what I do on a daily rather than a chore. For example, 1. enhancing the image of tourism in the city. 2. to market the area, encourage people for a longer stay and making sure they are okay there. 3. to target selected associates and others to hold meetings, conventions and exposures in the city. 4. to give support in this conventions and make sure everything slides smoothly. 5. to encourage tourist to get involve in historical places/actions and opportunities the city has to offer.
This sounds more like marketing, and is super important for the community, especially the tourism related businesses.
One Job I would want to try in the field of meeting and conventions Management is Conference organizer because I have been a leader multiple times in my life and I do pay attention to detail when it comes to artistic crafts and planning.
Leadership is important, the acceptance of responsibility happens at each step from planning, including RFPs and execution which includes the BEO.
One job I want to try in the field of Meeting and Conventions Management would be Conference organizer because I think it’s a job that requires a person to think far more beyond than you would actually do.One of the aspects of this job is that would need flexible long term vision and I believe it is something that I have been always careful with through out my life and like to think and look more depth into something before making that decision. Also remembering all the details is a another essential part of this job.
Attention to detail is absolutely imperative as a planner. Though you will no need to remember each detail the day of, you will need to plan carefully and create BEOs and run of shows that include all the anticipated detailed directions for the staff.
