One job I would like to try is enhancing the image of tourism in different areas/ locations. I like to explore and write down places I visit. So very much I think this job is the right one for me. I think the job is called “bureau” which centers of the job in convention center clientele. They have 5 responsibilities which I think are more of what I do on a daily rather than a chore. For example, 1. enhancing the image of tourism in the city. 2. to market the area, encourage people for a longer stay and making sure they are okay there. 3. to target selected associates and others to hold meetings, conventions and exposures in the city. 4. to give support in this conventions and make sure everything slides smoothly. 5. to encourage tourist to get involve in historical places/actions and opportunities the city has to offer.

One job I want to try in the field of Meeting and Conventions Management would be Conference organizer because I think it’s a job that requires a person to think far more beyond than you would actually do.One of the aspects of this job is that would need flexible long term vision and I believe it is something that I have been always careful with through out my life and like to think and look more depth into something before making that decision. Also remembering all the details is a another essential part of this job.

    • Prof. Karen Goodlad

Attention to detail is absolutely imperative as a planner. Though you will no need to remember each detail the day of, you will need to plan carefully and create BEOs and run of shows that include all the anticipated detailed directions for the staff.
