I have not seen this document before. In the good learning strategies, I have used attending every session for each subject, taking notes, and making plans for the next day. I did not know and never tried to write down questions or comments for discussion while doing the assignment and will consider using this strategy to be a successful student.

Writing down the question you consider while preparing for class will offer an opportunity to listen more clearly. That detailed prep will also allow students to make a more positive contribution to the learning environment.

I have never seen this document before. The good learning strategies I have used this week is that I took notes, I reviewed lectures notes and for reading assignments “previewed” materials before reading them through ,making plans for the next day.I did not know while completing assignments to write down questions or comments for discussion for a good successful student strategy .

Previewing the reading is beneficial as it allows students to identify key vocabulary terms.

I agree with Ia, this document wasn’t shown before and I think that this one would have been so helpful to us students. Something i found that helps me is sitting infront of the class. you get the best view of the lesson and if you cant see like me, it helps a lot more. This week I used the “bringing my proper information to the table”. When we have our discussions, I sometimes share some of my knowledge. I also use the “looking more deeply into the subject.” On days that I am truly invested in a topic, after classes I research the topic even more. that’s when I bring knowledge into the table. Something I am going to add is that the logs, the schedule log and the checking in to class log, i might start doing that. it seems helpful and interesting.

Everyone does better when students “bring their knowledge to the table”. It sets higher expectations and allows the teacher to gauge students development.

I think this document was sent to me but I’m not sure. A strategy I’ve done was take notes and also find things that may spice a class for me if it get’s little boring to me. I didn’t know forming “a study group with classmates to share ideas and notes to make the learning experience more social” was something that works, I would say it wouldn’t work for everybody.

I have never seen this document before, this week I’ve used is to do research on my own and become my own teacher. For some of my assignments, I had to use outside source to provide a broad scope on the subject that is given by my teacher, so I can do their assignment. one strategy that interested me was the comparing ideas. I’ve never really considered comparing my topics all together.
