Hello my name is Heidi Pearl. I am a senior majoring in Communication Design and Concentrating in Illustration/Animation at CityTech.
Although my concentration is Illustration & Animation I am capable of creating graphics around typography, images, motion and 3D. I have love for all things created but my creations do revolve around solving problems. My greatest goals would be to solve world issues through design such as global warming and women’s inequality. These are huge goals but I believe if you don’t try then you will never know.
I live by this quote: “Comfort is the enemy of progress.” because I believe when you settle for what you know you never grow. I enjoy experimenting with medias/softwares that are new to me because it creates failure. Through failure I find knowledge in what not to do next time around, the way scientist solve for a hypothesis by finding it to be wrong rather then right.
