Hello, my name is Truly Kim and the career path that I am persuing is nursing. This is a field where many lives are in your hands and math will have a portion of importance when dealing with your patients.
There will be lots of measuring going on. For example, the dosage of medicine needs to be proportionate to the person’s body weight, severity of illness and etc. There will also be lots of statistics in this field such as collecting data for each patient and making charts, which is why quantitative reasoning is an essential class.
