The COVID-19 pandemic made everyone’s lives more confusing and isolated. Trying to communicate with people during a time like that proved to be difficult, but my friends and I found a way around this problem. By playing videogames together we were able to keep ourselves occupied on those lone nights, but also socialize with each other. I want to show people that there are many different ways to associate with friends, even if it’s in an odd way. By setting up a schedule of what time to get on our consoles, we were all always playing together, having fun, cracking jokes and just finding an escape from the harsh reality that we were confined to.
