What is the history of police brutality? How can we stop police brutality?

The article “The Story of American Police Brutality” By Velocity explains how the process of establishing policy in America was started. Boston, New-York, and Philadelphia were the three first cities to have police as night watch. However, as explained by the author the system didn’t work well due to the corruption among them. As a record from 1870 to 1920s a historian named Jeffrey has confirmed that police brutality has cost 307 people’s lives. This police brutality situation has led to the March of Martin Luther King Jr. In 1963 the black people became the most victims of it, and that act was considered racial inequality. As it is today with the situation of Georges Floyd and Breyona Taylor who became new victims of this police brutality system. I think it’s really important to know how police brutality has to begin if we want to stop. How can we stop police brutality? It will be difficult to stop it but not impossible.it difficult because a lot of police officers are racist and they always see a black person as a threat. This situation makes them scared and insecure when a police officer is around. It would be possible if everyone stands to fight positively. Also, when the people in the institution take responsibility to punish those officers hard when it comes to brutality. I think we got a positive result in a few years and fewer people will be a victim of it.
