Leon Joshua “LJ” Delos Reyes

I am majoring in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Culinary Arts. My goal is to become an executive chef and open my own restaurant as well. I had a couple experiences in the restaurant industry, with the help of C-CAP (Careers Through Culinary Arts Program) I’ve worked at Skadden Arps Cafe as an kitchen intern (which was my first summer internship) and recently, Gotham Bar and Grill as a garde manger intern. With these experiences I had, my passion in this industry and love for the kitchen had grown more. My personal strengths would be, assertive, attentive and a fast learner. But public speaking is what I need to improve on.

    Your culinary experience is impressive LJ. Continue to do what you love for and Professor Jean Claude is a member of C-CAP from what I remember. He held an event for it as well. You should reach out to him to seek for opportunities. Also we have two clubs, “American Culinary Federation” (ACF) and “Cooks in the Market” that works directly hands on with culinary. They do volunteer events for green markets and soup kitchens like for Thanksgiving and much more.
