Two major factors that influenced me were my teachers in high school and my father. Getting through four years of high school was the first goal. It wasn’t just the academic challenges that changed my point of view about my future, it was the people I met and the teachers that taught me throughout the years. My teachers taught me to always aim high. Academically I motivated myself to surpass all the expectations everyone had for me. By surpassing these expectations I proceeded to graduate and take the next step that would lead me closer to the career of my choice. Throughout the years my father has also influenced me to show initiative. He has helped me with many things like how to become responsible. My father owns a small business and he gave me my first job. He didn’t favor me because I was his son. He treated me like he would treat every employee; with respect.  These people have prepared me to be the leader I seek to be.

I am a student in New York City College Of Technology and I am studying Hospitality Management as my major. I want to become a executive chef and also be a restaurant owner and own many more restaurants around the world.

After working as public relations few years in the garment industry, it makes me more clear about my career goals. Now, i am majoring the HM in City Tech. I hope i can work in the international chain travelling industry, such as Hilton, Sheraton, or marketing in foreign countries, such as in Europe, Asia, in the future. From my previously work, i learned so much about myself, some strengths are communication skills and positive attitude with costumers, patient and passion for job and the ability to adapt to new things quickly. Travelling always is a best rewarding thing, especially when it combine with the job that what i want.  i like explore the different places and meet different people around the world.

Hospitality is a very colorful major. This major not only focus on one thing only and it provides different kinds of opportunities for the people.I believe this major will bring a lot of happiness to me. This major is appropriate for me. I like to propose changes in my life. Sometimes changes could bring something that we never see it. Life is full of challenges our job is to vanquish all the obstacles and achieve our objectives. Sharing and listening are parts of caring, I’m a skillful listener. I would like to try differents kinds of jobs to get more experience. Become a wedding planner is part of my dreams. Because, seeing people happy and get marry is part of my hobbies.

I am a freshmen student at New York City College of Technology and I also have my Masters degree in Hotel Management from Russia. The main thing I like about studying hospitality management is you have plenty of choices of places to work at such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, and airports. This profession gives you an opportunity to work in a team, meet new people and visit new places. It doesn’t seem like a routine work and this is what makes it attractive for me. I joined the program Work and Travel for international students two times, so I have at least 8 months of experience providing a good service for people in a motel and a restaurant.

I’m a student currently in New York City College of Technology studying Hospitality Management. I am extremely eager to learn and to gain more knowledge about this industry. I am a very positive and cheerful person! I love to make people smile  and laugh. When it comes to hard decisions or crunch time, I have an open mind and can think things through and will succeed on completing all aspects of any task. My goal is to graduate College with a Bachelors and to begin working on a cruise ship. I enjoy traveling to places like Haiti, Mexico, Jamacia, Bermuda etc. Ive been on a wide variety of cruises so if you have any questions or comments please dont be shy, come talk to me!

I am a student majoring in Hospitality Management at New York City College Of Technology. My goals are to do my best to acknowledge what I learn and experience in class and use that knowledge  in my future career. I believe hospitality is about providing service for others and making them happy. This is why I believe in Disney’s quote, “We Create Happiness!” I like helping others and making them feel happy about it; this is why I am interested in studying hospitality management as my major. I am starting my studies in Hospitality and I am discovering my strengths, I will use my organization skills to improve my potential in all terms.

I want to be someone important in life and the industry of Hospitality Management is based on meeting new people from all over the world. I would want to work in hotels but mostly travel and plan events and organize people desires. Hopefully in the next 4 years I will be able to accomplish and get my degree, also work in the future with my fellow classmates. I’m a good listener and always have good feedback to give with others are in need. It may not be the correct feedback but it might help. At first I’m a bit shy but once I get comfortable I’m really outgoing and like to always bring positive vibes to the atmosphere.

I am currently enrolled in New York City College of Technology and I’m in the Hospitality Management Major. The goals I would like to achieve is to graduate on time and if possible earlier.  I would like to work in different fields in the hospitality industry such as hotel management , travel and tourism and culinary arts. I am leaning towards hospitality management, and the position I would like to work is the front of the house. I would like to work in a small business company to gain experience and learn the roles of each position and their responsibility to start off first. I enjoy traveling around the world meeting different cultural people communicating with them for the experience.

       As a student in NYC College of Technology, I’m study in hospitality management. My academic goal is to graduate from New York City College of Technology. I love reading books and traveling. I like the feeling of traveling because it can relax my stress. I like to listen different kinds of music because it can easily understand the song’s meaning and emotion. I believe the song can effect people’s emotion. I’m not sure about my future, but I will like to try hard in this major. My favorite flower is sunflower because it similar with my personality. I like to communicate with other people from different countries because I like to making friends. I believe nobody’s perfect, but everyone have their merit and it’s irreplaceable. People can get through by making friends to modify their weakness.
