I recently graduated from Martin Van Buren high school. Being a freshman in college is now the next chapter in my life. Everyone has been asked that one question, “What would you like to be when you grow up?” I realized I developed a passion for cooking and that would be my future career. My culinary experiences soon began in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother ; learning and watching step by step instructions . I started to create my own recipes and write them down into a handbook. I volunteered and served delicious healthy meals every Thanksgiving to the homeless population at the African Poetry Theater. During my senior year , at Martin Van Buren , my path to hospitality began while taking a course at Monroe College in Travel and Tourism. Now I am currently working at KFC (Kentucky fried chicken) . While I’m there I am learning to elevate my customer service skills. The skills I wish to accomplish in my time at New York City college of technology is to become the best chef possible.
I think its cool that you can make your own recipes! I also think its so nice of you to spend your thanks giving serving others!
Thank you Holly . You should totally volunteer. It is so much fun and you feel good after helping .
Keep up your recipe collection, I am sure it could lead to a cookbook in your future.
