To-Do Before Class

• Architectural terminology – Look up the terms on the list below:
  • Write their meanings in your sketchbook; and sketch images that help describe their meaning.
  • Be sure your sketches are large enough – approximately 2″ square minimum
  • Be prepared to explain each term at our next class. Come to class with at least 1 question on a term you are not sure about.

• Sketching Assignment:
  • Complete your sketch from the photograph on the slides from class.
    • Draw it again if you’re not happy with your first sketch.
  • Choose from the 2 other buildings in the photos on the slides – Hagia Sophia, Federal Hall; Slides 24 and 25.
    • Make a sketch from that photo in your sketchbook.

• Writing Assignment:
  • Complete your Reflection Essay from the first day of class, if you haven’t already. See Agenda 2 for assignment info
