    • Make a perspective sketch, using the 1 and 2 point perspective guidelines we practiced last week.
    • Photo your location and finish your sketch this week.
  • Reading and Writing:
    • Read this article on Sketching by Chris Wilkinson, and write a 1-page reflection that answers these 2 questions:
      • Why is sketching important to you?
      • Why is sketching important to the author of the article?

  • Set up drawing template – 11″x17″ sheet size
    • Border + Title Block
  • Practice use of architectural scale
    • Watch video on reading + using a scale
    • Draw Graphic Scale on your 11×17 sheet

To-Do After Class

  • Drawing Assignment – 3 Views of Desk:
    • From your sketches in class, and the dimensions given, complete these drawings at the scale of: 3/4″=1′-0″.
    • See SLIDES from class for more information.
    • All drawings shall be done on 11×17 paper with title block + graphic scale as demonstrated in class. See slides for samples.
    • Submit one pdf of your drawings, formatted as described above + in Course Resources.
