Victor tears frankenstein’s companion to pieces after being lost in a train of thought. He mentions that after creating her that she might not be satisfied with the lifestyle she will be provided and become rebellious. Also that she might not like frankenstein. He was afraid that the creatures would intend to reproduce and start a family. Frankenstein’s companion is another representation of how men oppressed women back then. With his action in destroying her he took away the opportunity or chance to make any decisions of her own, he made the decision for her by destroying her.
