I have never worked on a multi modal piece. This is honestly the first time I’m hearing about it . The one very interesting thing I find about these pieces is how captivating they are they hold my attention very well .There is one thing I am worried about which is formatting this piece with a cause that would want people to listen to it and hold there attention .

I have never worked on a multimodal piece. I am really curious and I would love to make one. Creating a multimodal piece would allow me to share my message more clearly with the audience and it will be more powerful compared to writing a 10 page paper on it. I am not great at drawing and I don’t have much of a creativity, I am worried that if i make a piece it will become boring and won’t grab audience’s attention

I’ve never worked on a multimodal piece. Those images reminded me of cartoons. I want to find more examples of multimodal texts. I’m worried that it will be difficult to think of an idea that catches the reader’s eyes or moves their emotions.

I didn’t work on a multimodal piece before and never heard of it. I am excited about the combination of art and writing to tell a story or present a topic. I am worried about the difficulty of finding related images or audio to my research topic, I think It needs good research, creativity and to be interested in the topic and want the people to understand it.

I have never worked on a multimodal piece in my lifetime. I am excited to try combining my writing with a picture that helps the reader understand it better. I am worried about finding images and sounds that will match my research directly and not send the wrong message.

I personally have worked on a multimodal piece. I write and draw comics/graphic novels, so I do have some experience, though I am an amateur. They went pretty well, though they aren’t anything special, they were intended to be fan art. I am excited about this assignment, my only concern is creative burnouts, but seeing as this is for a grade, that probably wouldn’t happen, or at least I hope.

I have never worked on multi modal piece. I am excited to learn about how to make one because i can apply this knowledge to other classes, and it is a new style of writing. One thing that worries me about this writing assignment is it will be harder to put together, and finding pictures and audios to coincide with my paper.

I see most of you, with the exception of Nicholas, have not worked on a multimodal text before and many of you are worried about putting it together. But if you can insert an image into a document, you are good to go. Some of you are artists and that is great, you can do original art. But if you are not an artist there are many options. You can find images and just make sure to attribute them appropriately. You can search on google with the setting so that it gives you images that are in the public domain and then make sure to keep track of the artist and site. Multi-modal is also text and graphs and charts. Think of pamphlets and public service announcements, and posters. These are all multi-modal texts too. This is the section of the class where students usually do their best work and I’m excited to see what you come up with.

I’ve never written a multimodal piece for school work. However, I did write on of my own, if I recall correctly in the 7nth grade. It was pretty short and there weren’t that many words as were the images. I was excited for the outcome, although it didn’t turn out that bad I wasn’t satisfied with the way I organized it. Overall, it was fun and would do it again.

I might have worked on a multimodal text back in Highschool but I don’t remember. I am excited about it because it will expand my thoughts while I only have a small window to work with if I am working with a picture. I am worried about finding clear images that illustrate my topic
