Some issues I’m passionate about are:
- Mental Illness in the Black community: the problem is that mental illness is not addressed or believed in the community, especially after past traumatic events.
- Student debt: the problem is that over 45 million Americans have student debt and have been paying it off for several years.
- Housing segregation: the problem is that for years, in America, Black communities are separated from White communities and create discrimination and bias financial and educational gaps.
- Defunding of police: the problem is that officers are not taking accountability for their aggressive actions, and the justice system always gives them a pass yet our tax dollars still go to them.
This is excellent–specific and focused issues. I don’t have any concerns about you finding a question to research–this will be the next step.
