The topic I decided to write about is the wealth gap. I will be focusing on the differences between white and Black Americans to address why the gap is where it is now. What is the wealth gap? I plan to answer the question by defining wealth and how wealth could be built. What caused the wealth gap? I will research the topic and use historical evidence to support why there is a gap. Could slavery be a reason the wealth gap is big? This is a broad question that I could narrow down, to speak on discrimination against African Americans.
