Pick a Model & Organize Your Ideas

The model I’m choosing for this assignment is a letter. With my audience being what it is it just makes a lot more sense. Not everyone will ever be in the same place and being able to send everyone a message describing the situation in my eyes is the best idea.

Like I just said, a letter would be the best way to target my audience. I’ll be sending my letter to a lot of the fans of the UFC with the main focus to open their eyes and see these fighters as real people. There are a lot of people that love the sport and it’s growing rapidly and because of this we see a huge issue showing up, which is health care. These fighters are not guaranteed anything that has to do with their safety. No insurance, no medical care, no treatment they are left to fight on the own. Which isn’t fair at alot knowing the 1 fight makes the UFC millions, which definitely allows them to provide some help for their fights. So I target the fans of the sport for many reasons. They all don’t want to see their favorite fighter get a bad injury that could have been avoided or treated with the right help which would give them a big motive to help. If they protest and stop buying paperviews the UFC is going to have to change something. And all they have to do is support the fighters, letting the UFC that these people are putting on amazing shows to make them money so the least they can do is provide them with the best healthcare there is.

This was just a little summary of what I was going to write about. I have statistics on how much the UFC makes on fights and how much of a cut the fighters get. Its honestly really crazy how little they are paid from how much they make

Anthony- You have clear problem and purpose. You also have information you plan to include to help you illustrate the problem. Before you start to write, be sure you have a clear organization for your letter. Right now your paragraph doesn’t suggest a clear outline for your letter.
