To be honest I always felt like writing multiple drafts were unnecessary and took way to much time while we can be doing other things. I would only write one draft look over it myself and then have a per reread my work, to let me know about any mistakes. After that I would just fix the mistakes, a little addition here and there just to call it a day. Over the years in school I realized that it wasn’t good enough just to write one draft cause it would limit any other corrections you can make and plus it’s always better to go over your work multiple times. I also would like to change just showing it to one person, if you were to show it to other than they might catch a mistake the previous person missed. I believe 2-3 drafts in goof enough to write a great sounding essay. It can never hurt to do so and there is always room for improvement nobody is perfect at anything.
