Grudges grab guns

My letter to my professor

Dear, Professor Garcia,

I hope my title wasn’t the biggest tongue twister, but there is some truth behind these three words. I wrote my annotated bibliography about gun violence in the United States. I have been in many situations when there have been threats against the schools I studied at, therefore this topic is very significant to me. Even though the schools have taken proper precautions and necessary security, gun violence shouldn’t be taken lightly, particularly when it involves young kids. This was my first annotated bibliography to put together, so at times it was a little complicated. Nevertheless, I overcame my difficulties and continued the writing process.  My belief in supporting stricter gun laws has never been stronger after reading many articles of these pieces. The number of killings kept rising as I read, and it is heartbreaking to see how individuals in this country act. In addition to laws and protocols, I learned a lot about writing this paper. Despite some difficulties, I was able to write it properly and make my argument constantly throughout. It helped me stay organized and it would be useful for many people who’d like to learn more a gun violence and how to help stop this increase. One piece of information that I really found interesting and comes back to the title, mass shootings, and gun violence can be sprung from hatred however it ends “when a man with a grudge grabs a gun”.  When I revisit this project I would like to further work on my summary and shorten each paragraph to bring it back to the main question. I really liked this topic and the articles I found, I hope that people can look at this and find it helpful as well!
