Reading “Shitty first drafts’ ‘ made me feel more relieved that your drafts are supposed to be bad, especially the first because I had more rough edges than my final draft. The text also mentioned that as many drafts you make, it’s okay for it to be bad but as long as you improve or change it a bit in each of them, it shows that you’re using your mistakes to add on and just make your writing better than the last. I believe it helped me write a really bad draft which led to many changes but I still think my final draft is still not good enough. I felt like I still have a hard time transitioning but what I did have on my final that my drafts didn’t was more details and emotion. Throughout writing this, I learned to be more truthful about my feelings which I hope shows my development in my story. I tried making sure that my experience was easy to imagine to readers who didn’t go through what I did.
