In the summer of 2020, three facets of First-Year Writing (Mainstream FYW, the co-requisite and the 1101 Core Books Curriculum gathered to create Model Courses that fulfill our learning outcomes, promote the transfer of knowledge and are engaging to students. In 2026, we updated the model courses, providing two new options, along with a cloneable Brightspace sites. These can be found here:
