You can read about the history of City Tech, going all the way back to 1881, on the college website here. City Tech is a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The College is part of the City University of New York, which comprises 25 campuses in the five boroughs. The College has within it three schools: the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Technology and Design, and the School of Professional Studies.
