Again, use the databases and library catalog to locate potential sources for your research paper. Record bibliographic information from those sources. Quote material in quotation marks followed by a parenthetical citation. Keep track of your search keywords in a separate list at the end of your logbook. If you need to go to the library during class you may do so after checking in with Professor Ellis. At the end of class, copy-and-paste your entire logbook into a comment made to this blog post.

According to Tomlin,âMedical writing is a subspecialty of technical writing typically practiced in the pharmaceutical industry. Medical writers, many of whom have bioscience backgrounds, contribute to the construction of a wide range of reports and dossiers, the content and structure of which are prescribed by government regulatory agencies,
such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).â

âAs with any FDA submission document, the role of the medical writer can vary with each biosimilar applicant and reference product sponsor company. The initial application contains nonclinical and clinical data, like a standard 351(a), and medical writers frequently prepare these documents. CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control) sections of 351(a) applications often are written by medical writers and have a counterpart in a 351(k) application. Some additional questions and answers have been in draft form since May 2015 regarding the BPCIA 2009.â

Itâs not just teaching. Itâs guiding, advising, coaxing, prodding, leading, counseling, consoling. And, of course, admonishing (a perk). I use âdo not incur my wrathâ in so many emails Iâm pretty sure my students look at it as âwarmest regards.â

âAs education continues to evolve to correspond with technological advances, medical simulation has been rapidly adapted as a bridging educational platform between classic lecture style teaching and real-life clinical experiences. Through a combination of role-play, simple and sophisticated technologies, and creative case design, medical simulation allows learners to be exposed to rare but challenging clinical and social situations in a targeted, simulated learning environment that are often difficult or dangerous to obtain in real lifeâ

Another resource you shouldnât overlook: your computer. Online seminars and training sessions, often self-paced or recordable for repeat viewing, can help medical writers stay connected with one another, exchange ideas, explore trends, and get updated informationâall from the comfort of office or

My Choice: Inbound Marketing
Inbound Marketing is essential to every business in every industry. For me, knowing the
basics and how it could increase a company notoriety is vital to the progression of my career.
McTigue, J. (2011, October 31). A Brief History of Inbound Marketing. Retrieved from https://www.kunocreative.com/blog/bid/66753/A-Brief-History-of-Inbound-Marketing https://www.kunocreative.com/blog/bid/66753/A-Brief-History-of-Inbound-Marketing
HubSpot co-founder and CEO Brian Halligan has been credited with creating the inbound marketing term-of-art. His ideas, in conjunction with marketing theories promulgated by his partner, Dharmesh Shah ( McTigue, 2011).
The core principles of the inbound marketing mindset evolved well over a century ago. In the mid-1850s, Cyrus Hall McCormick, inventor of the mechanical harvester, developed basic market research techniques and primitive inbound strategies ( McTigue, 2011).
Basu, D. (2012, July 11). Inbound marketing: The customer finds you. Retrieved from http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/small-business/sb-marketing/advertising/inbound-marketing-the-customer-finds-you/article4258852/ http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/small-business/sb-marketing/advertising/inbound-marketing-the-customer-finds-you/article4258852/
Inbound marketing is a new technique that reflects todayâs consumer. It’s a strategy that involves getting found by customers rather than pushing messages out to them (Basu, 2012).
PATRUTIU-BALTES, L. (2016). Inbound Marketing – the most important digital marketing strategy. Bulletin Of The Transilvania University Of Brasov. Series V: Economic Sciences, 9(2), 61-68.
Lifecycle Marketing- promoters donât just materialize out of thin air: they
start off as strangers, visitors, contacts, and customers. Specific marketing
actions and tools help to transform those strangers into promoters. (Patrutiu-Baltes, p.62)
