My name is Nataly Quichimbo, most people call me Nat. Im currently studying business marketing, I’m really interested in this because it’s a market that is always growing and changing. I have a cat and a dog, they are the loves of my life (like actually) My cat’s name is marshmallow (8) and my dogs name is Chispita(1) If the last name didn’t give it away, I’m Ecuadorian but I was born and raised here.

Hi, my name is Sirandou Keita Traore. My major is accounting. I choose to study accounting because I find very interesting and at the same time important. Par example: You can create your own business through your studies. I started a little bit when i was in high school with the analysis of all elements of the life of the company, the evaluation of its financial health and the bank account numbers. I really like my major.
I saw City Tech in my Cuny page so I applied because it is a technological college, there is my major and I don’t have to pay anything. When I came I really loved it, especially its diverse community and many others things.
I hope I will learn academic success strategies, make meaningful connections, develop time management skills and improve my knowledge at the end of my first semester at City Tech.
And I guess my academic journey at City Tech will be awesome!

Hi my name is Karen Gisselle, I go by either name or both together. Something about me is that I used to be a honors student and due to covid I started to struggle and it has taken me a while to get back on track. My goal will be to set my priorities, stay on top of all my tasks and responsibilities for school and putting my all into learning, engaging in class, asking my questions etc.
I am very very creative I love learning, choosing a major was actually a bit difficult, my options were architecture, interior design, psychology, design in general, ultrasound or just general radiology, and business. I have a lot of interest when it comes to occupations. So although I have chosen to do radiology for school, i’m a nail technician in my personal life and have a few other smaller business ideas in mind.
I really hope that the professors at City Tech love teaching their school subject and teach in a way that I’ll keep wanting to learn, I believe a professors attitude and energy while teaching plays a big part in how the students learn. So far all my professors are very good teachers and i’m excited to keep learning.

I believe that the professors attitude and energy plays a big part in how the students take in information.
