Reflection #4

We invite you to tell a story about how you are preparing to be a City Tech student. Research has shown that first-semester students often worry about their transition to college, yet eventually they become comfortable and find a community of people with whom they are close and feel they belong. Share your own story of preparing to be a college student. *

* This reflection is inspired by the ā€œOur Storiesā€ project.

And don’t forget to complete the post-workshop survey: https://forms.gle/o9pkfkjH7zFn184D6

I am preparing for my first semester of college by talking to my parents about it and by looking more into what I am majoring in. Iā€™m still really nervous but at the same time Iā€™m excited to attend college.

When thinking about college, I didnā€™t care where I went to school as long as I was doing something in the business major until I came to the open house in October. I enjoyed going around the school and getting to know some teachers as well as the school and what they offered in the business major which made me want to reconsider and commit to city tech.

with now having an idea of what I would learn, I’m going to try and prepare myself and do further research to have some idea of the course going into my major
