Hello class-

As each of you is designing your concept sketches it is very important that you keep in mind the size and shape of the final art.

Remember, the art created for a beer can like the one below, will be different than that created for a beer bottle or a wine label.

Illustrated cans are fun! They offer a larger space to play with than a traditional beverage label. Please make the most of it! Use the PROPORTIONS as you design your illustration. Don’t worry too much about text. Rather just be sure you put thought into where the text could go. Your job here is to make an image-based solution. If you choose to include text, remember it must occupy no more than 20% of the overall space.
