This is one of my favorite shots that i took today in class where my module is looking in a 45 degree angel and the light is coming from this angel. It is a broad light and it was a good example i learned today in class.

This is a wonderful portrait. Melissa looks determined and the curve of her face sweeps one way while her hair sweeps the other.
This is however an example of short light. The light is falling on the side of her face with her features. if it was falling on the side of her face with the visible ear, it would be broad light.
