In my opinion, a great photograph tells a story. It draws the viewer in and makes them think and engage with the content. They can’t simply walk away without wondering what’s more to the image than what is seen. A great photograph evokes emotions and gets a response out of the viewer. It creates a conversation and potentially question morals. Lastly, a great photograph leaves its mark, it becomes something that is looked back on and reminisced about. People look back to them and revisit how they felt about it.

Nicely stated. If a photograph can get the viewer engage with the content in a new way-not simply reproduce commonly held beliefs-it is great.
