The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
I really like the first larger sketch. It looks like a whale which I found quite cute. Also, there is an equal amount of negative and positive space and it has a shape.
Bonnie, how does it work as a figure-ground study?
The first thumbnail on the bottom row represent an example of figure/ground relationship because there is nothing too distinct therefore balancing the composition.
