• Go back into your homework files (3 traced drawings) and refine them. Try harder to get each line and point and object to be directly intentional and to look exactly how you want them to.

• Pick 1 (one) of your drawings to make a more stylized icon or logo from.

• Options:

  1. Add a frame or a background to the composition.
  2. Add details and decorative elements to create a context for your drawing.
  3. You may add text to your drawing.
  4. Simplify and stylize – experiment with stroke weight and rounded corners, instance.

• Make sure each of the files is saved properly:

  1. Delete the imported image
  2. Make sure the file name is “yourname_HW2_animal.ai” or similar

• Email the finished files to me before the next class so I can print them out for you.
