Unit 3 Genre

Contributing into Unit 2 I decided that my intended audience for my research topic is the education system also know as the government. I feel that this particular audience is best to get my word out, because they are the ones that can make a difference in letting students choose what they want to learn, they are the ones that control it all and are definitely preventing this. To target this audience the most will definitely lead to a chance of reform in our learning environments and will they’ll realize what’s wrong with our education so they won’t let it continue. The genre I think that is best for the audience is a non-written document like a video/interview because it will be best to hear how people feel about it and how much a reality it is. One thing I know is that in order for change to take action, it starts with the people’s word and how much that change will make a better difference. With that being said I will like to write about my previous research topic for the audience that needs to be targeted the most while using the genre of an interview, I feel like the government needs to take note of this so that they can make education more open-minded and diverse for all students and make school greater than what it is. With the help of hearing how students, teachers, and people in general feel this change for the education system can establish a new era of learning.

I am surprised of your motive of targeting the government as the audience and the intention of changing the educational system completely to remove corruption. I also believe that there is corruption within the educational system, us students should have the free decision in deciding what we should learn. Furthermore, a change like this requires a lot of support as it involves the entire educational system of the country and it’s not something that the government will accept easily. My question to you is, “how will you gain support from people, students and teachers for your motive”. You are right that change first begins with the voice of the people and I believe people will one day realize the importance in revolutionizing the learning environment for students.
