Some pet peeves I have when reading online is can include the layout of the website as well as sometimes the font. The font can be very troublesome to read and can sometimes make me distracted from the actual content of the reading. Additionally, when a website sometimes is very bland and does not visually captivate me I tend to lose motivation in reading it. Similar to reading books I    would like the cover to be aesthetically pleasing as well as captivating to me, the reader.  Additionally, when reading articles or reading from websites I believe it is essential to include images for the reader to gain a better understanding and to visually see the correlation within the writing.
