- Submit scanned + formatted Reading Notes+ Sketches
- In addition to your notes + sketches, be sure to reflect on and answer the following questions:
- How does the book define architecture?
- How does that compare / contrast with my own understanding of architecture?
- Due Wednesday 2/7 @ 8am, to Miro
- Visit Federal Hall
- Take in the space
- Sketch + take pictures
- These will help you when you’re drawing the building later
- Try to understand how the building is supported
- What are the main structural elements? Walls? Columns? Both?
- Sketch + take pictures
- Post one sketch from your visit and a selfie of you in front of the building by Wednesday 2/7 @ 8am to Miro
- Take in the space
- Module I: Case Study Order and Geometry Diagram
- Study the first floor plan of Federal Hall
- On the Miro board, produce a diagram breaking the floor plan down into its key geometric forms
- This is just a first pass, so experimentation is encouraged!
- Due Wednesday 2/7 @ 8am to Miro
