  • How has language shaped design historically?

  Language being used in design ‌to communicate their feelings and thoughts toward people. It helps people by making them understand the designer’s message by just looking into the designs. 

  • Can visual design accomplish things that language cannot? Why?

 I believe that Visual Design can accomplish things which language can’t accomplish because visual design can help with the audience understand the information in a design using different type of elements. Typography, color or even images can put an effect a designer’s work. Designer can use their visual to ‌communicate just like how a writer can communicate with their reader by using words.
