Reading the assigned text I concluded that the author was viewing Design as a very crucial part of society. With the main points of authorship, universality, and social responsibility.The author allows the reader to think of both sides of the coin, the good and the bad.Technology has made design much easier which has also brought up new issues and ideas such as “Why should designers concern themselves with unsolvable theoretical questions?”.Realistically everyone should always be concerned but for designers which is a broad term but all of which is narrowing professions that require the love of planning,art and new ideas.What distinguishes the fields of design from other creative occupations is that design is meant to allow the application to the “real” world.Allowing many people to use it to their liking and no real ” Creator” .I also thought after the reading that designers should understand the power they have and its effects towards technology. With technology allowing designers to really capitalize on designs it makes it harder on designers to not think about authorship with pouring long hours into thier work. Its esstionally a job of a designer to think about adding to the world of design as much as they want to “leave a mark” be the creator/owner of a certain idea.

You make some good points but it is difficult to read.
In the future, you don’t need to include “Reading the text,” it is assumed.
I think your response to “designers concern themselves with unsolvable theoretical questions” is because they should understand their responsibility. Make this more clear!
