Around the time of the Civil War, I didn’t imagine the soldiers would be this serious about their diet in the time of war. Mainly their use of food was to utilize it for energy purposes during the war. But I wouldn’t have imagined them eating while bullets flew around them. It seems quite hard to eat and regenerate yourself while possibly able to die at any point. But also the use of coffee, I think they had a good idea of using the coffee for their battles, to give them that edge. I would probably say that Doritos would be my kind of snack to keep myself in a focus and energized mindset.
