When it comes to the Civil War, soldiers were all stuck with the same food. Compared to now, you have a variety of choices on what you wanna eat whenever you go out to eat with your friends or family. Back then a soldier’s diet consisted of bread, a piece of meat, bread, and a cup of coffee. What I found interesting and significant about their diet was that their meals were the same as their breakfast and supper. Usually you would think they would have a cup of milk or something for breakfast but no.. they’re having meat/potatoes and coffee. But, they’re used to it and enjoy it. One of the foods I cannot live without and enjoy is pasta!
