Social media is a big part of our lives in the 21th century. The power that social media brings is a connection and those can be a link to see many different art works on display and photos. Which we can see from our Instagram accounts and Facebook, we can see what trending and take look at art in an instant. The main social media platform I use is Snapchat, I use it take random photos and videos and share it with my friends which it very fun. To me snapchat is a form to send art around since you only see the snap for about 10 seconds, you look at it and thoughts come to mind. A simple picture speaks louder then words, which is the same for any type art and photo, which all have different meaning because its up to the people’s interpretation. When I take a selfie, I look at it and thinks its art, the reason is because the human face is a work art and close to the golden ratio. Social media does help me decide on places to visit, the reason its so easy to look at the trends in nyc and we can just there, like the black tab, the escape room, the infinity room, and a museum exhibit of what NYC could have been.
