Photography is an art. No matter what, every single photo taken talks to you in some sort of way. It expresses emotions, and messages with no words. A single picture can convey millions of things, based on its intensity. All pictures are act of creating, and cherish the memories.
In this twenty first century, photography, art and social media are closely related. In olden days, a masterpiece art or a famous photograph was only available to a very few. In this modern era with the help of social media, art and photographs travels beyond geographic barriers. I see social media as a carrier of art in these days. With social media and internet, places becomes popular, art forms and photographs fly around.
I personally do not use social media a lot. But I knew that there are some great pages out there in social medias like Instagram, Facebook, etc. which supports photographers to publish their work. Social medias are great platform for new as well as established photographers and artists. There are also individuals who publish there photographs in their own private social media accounts. Selfies are a part of our daily life now. We at least take three to five selfies a day. Selfies acts like a mile stones now. Every one takes their selfies in front of famous places and posts it in social medias. The main reason why they are doing this is that, they want to let the world know that they were out there. There is one another major benefit for this. These selfies also let the beautiful places and art forms to travel. Which would have been much less without social media.
In conclusion, photography is always an art form, which conveys great things with no words and social media is just a carrier of this art form.
