I found interesting that Bonnie would find her expressive styles from the places she visits. I like her signs(or advertisement) on magazines to making logos for Saturday night live. She capture the culture in New York. She also takes in criticism very well when people felt a aww about redesigning the library logo. From what I understood on that part despite the way people felt, Brooklyn library still went with her design because it was a nice look. Maybe they thought it’s an attention grabber and want others to maybe put their own spin into the design.

The most important option is that of the client. The fact that the journalist and others on social media was talking brought attention to the library. Sometimes taking a risk with design can be a good thing. Obviously people got used to it.
