In Class on Wednesday:

  • Introduce the concept of source evaluation by asking for students to share something about the source that they found for homework. How did they select their source? Was it easy or challenging to find?
  • Review criteria for Source Entries (and for the assignment in general).
    • Specifically discuss/explain Rhetorical Analysis to establish understanding.
  • Discuss how to critically evaluate sources of information using the CRAAP Test.
  • Evaluate the source you found for HW. Aim to complete your first source entry by the end of class!

Homework for Friday:

  • Conduct research to find your 2nd and 3rd sources. We will continue evaluating sources and creating source entries on Friday.
