In the article is music a good tool for health by Elizabeth Scott she talks about how music can put people in different type of moods depending on if the beat is low of high. In the article Elizabeth Scott uses music therapy and breathing to get her point across to her readers. I agree with Elizabeth Scott because when I listen to music with loud beats I tend to get a lot of energy and when I listen to music with soft beats I’m very relaxed and calm.

I believe that bringing music therapy to hospitals would be a good idea. “Research shows that music with a strong beat can stimulate by the changes music can bring”. this quote means that music can be good for the brain depending on how loud the beat is. this quote goes back to my thesis because it shows that music can be good for the brain but music with loud beats can effect the brain a little.

Elizabeth Scott also talks about breathing. I believe that keeping a steady breathing rate would help with your heart rate but in order to keep your heart rate steady you have to listen to calm music “music can also be used to to bring a more positive state of mind.” This quote shows how music can be relaxing depending on how loud the beat is. This quote is related to my thesis because it shows how music can change peoples mood depending on the beat volume.

In the article “Is Music a Good Tool for Health” the author Elizabeth Scott explains how much of an impact music can have on one’s well-being. Research have shown music with a strong beat can stimulate brain waves too synchornixe with the beat. Music therapy is so effective hospitals are beginning to use music therapy to help pain management, depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension, and other benefits.

I use music therapy everyday of my life. Music has saved me from a few troubling situations. One minute you can be so mad at the world, and someone can put on a feel good song in your hole mood will change. I work with special-needs individuals and they love music. I have witnessed firsthand how music therapy can change a person’s mood is quite amazing actually. Music is also starting to make its way into the classroom. Teachers also using music as a teaching method; if you think about it we have one song we know from start to finish. Just imagine putting education into song form; everyone will learn a lot easier, and learning will become exciting, and not so boring.

I can definitely see music therapy becoming a big deal in the future for the health field. Once specialist see how effective this method is it will be the number one go to.

Is it just me or do you listen to different types of music depending on your mood? I’m pretty sure its not just me. Music tends to be someones way to express themselfs. In the article ” How and Why Is Music a Good Tool For Health?” Elizabeth Scott talks about how music has a profound effect on your body and mind. Music is used for so many ways, including helping people with health issues. I agree with Elizabeth Scott, music dose effect ones body. It all depends on someones mood and also the beat of the song; one can say music is the best medicine.

“Research has shown that music with a strong beat can simulate brainwaves to synchronize with the beat. Faster beats bring sharper concentration and more alart thinking”. I can agree with this research. I usually like to play games – on my Play Station 4, a gaming counsel- and when i do i play fast music. In my games one has to be alert about what’s happening around them so they won’t die. Research also found that “slower beats promote a calm, meditative state. I can also realte to this; i usually listen to slower songs when I’m about to sleep or when i just want relax.

Music doesn’t only help with moods. It can also affect your health. “Reseach [ has out that] breathing and heart rate may be affected by the changes music can bring. This means slower may mean slower breathing and a slower heart rate” which is need by most people. Music is also being used gor therapy. It’s calles music therapy, which uses music to heal. “Hospitals are starting to use music therapy to help with pain management, depression, to promote movement, tp calm parents, to ease muscle tension, and other benefits”. I beleive music therapy will help plenty of people; music has ways helped me threw many things, good or bad.

Music will always be very important to me. Mostly everyone would agree with me; you can express your with music nkt matter what mood your in. As long as musiv therapy is there, i believe it will help plenty of people going threw things.

The role that music therapy has played with cancer patients, children that have difficulty focusing , pain management and depression.I concur that music is a good tool for ones being and helps with concentrating and is good stress reliever.

Listening to music can help one heal and help them control stress. For example,”Hospitals are beginning to use music therapy to help with pain management, depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension and other benefits”. In other words, listening to music has had it’s positive impacts in the medical field. Where it has helped patients heal or see improvements .To emphasize, I can relate to this because when it seems like I’m in a funk , I turn to music. I listen to music that has a uplifting beat to it or a fun meaning to it, and then I see a change in my mood afterwards. Therefore this is one of the positive impacts that music has on ones health.

Another impact is, listening to music can also help one sit down and focus . For example,” research has shown that music with a strong beat can stimulate brainwaves to synchronize with the beat. Faster beats bring sharper concentration and more alert thinking. To emphasize, I can relate to this because I listen to music and do homework.
